| Valentina Golfieri began her dance training in Italy. After an apprenticeship with Compagnia Michele Pogliani in Rome she joined London Contemporary Dance School where she gained a BA (Hons), a PG Dip with Edge07 and an MA.
With Edge, Valentina toured internationally works by Stephen Petronio, Stacy Spence (formerly Trisha Brown Dance Company), Charlotte Boye-Christensen and Frauke Requardt. Valentina’s most recent performance credits include Megan the Monkey in Will Tuckett’s Thief of Bagdad at ROH2, DanceLines08 directed by Wayne McGregor, Roadkill Café by Frauke Requardt (The Cholmondeleys) and Crossing the Sea, a new chamber opera commissioned by Wilton’s Music Hall choreographed in collaboration with Amy Bell (Maresa von Stockert’s Tilted Productions).
