A visceral dance and virtuosic vocal performance.
“Dam Van Huynh’s choreographic language speaks of a clear physical elegance.” TheMuse.sg

Gesundheit! is an intimate gathering of individuals from different paths of life, searching for a common voice.

The body becomes a parchment bearing imprints of our experiences, a compass guiding and tracing a way forward.
Decipher the past, reminisce, reopen the wounds, confront our fears; this is what makes us human.

Embodied with a dash of hope and a twist of humour, this intense encounter takes the audience into a unique world where borders vanish.

Over the years, Dam Van Huynh has developed his own methodology for accessing the widest range of movement. This methodology based on the division of the torso is at the core of his choreographic research.
Participants in the workshops are given opportunities to experience this vibrant and innovative working process. The workshops are led through movement exploration from core principals of energy flow, connecting dynamic movement from its origin, sensory of internal music and focus attention towards revealing individual personalities within the present moment.

Dam Van Huynh has directed workshops all over the world in companies, festivals and dance academies. He is also in demand as a choreographer and Gesundheit! is his fourth creation for his company.
